Code block syntax highlighting in callout in soure mode

I’m sure which section I should put this in so… Help it is.

First of all, I have an immensely appreciation for Obsidian. I use the app rigorously for my knowledge management. So many thanks to the Obsidian team for developing this amazing app.

Whenever I open VSCode to do some mass replacement for Obsidian, I see that code block in callout has its syntax beautifully highlighted, as oppose to that in Obsidian.

So I search for the markdown parser that VSCode use, and apparently it is Markdig(?).

I wonder which markdown parser Obsidian use and can we switch to other parser (maybe Markdig) for better code block highlight and also other feature like definition list that I think many people want.
