CMD/CTRL+SHIFT CLICK Links highlights text in edit mode

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open any note, make sure you are in EDIT (not preview, that works as intended)
  2. CMD/CTRL+SHIFT and CLICK on a link

Expected result

Editor should open the note in a NEW pane (which it does) and no highlighting should occur in original note

Actual result

Editor opens note in new window and in the original note the text is highlighted up until where the link was from wherever the cursor was previously

Environment

  • Operating system: MacOS
  • Obsidian version: 0.11.7 (also tried in stable non insiders release)

Not a fix but a workaround. You could try cmd+opt+shift+click to avoid selecting the text.
