Checklist Reader vs. Edit View

What I’m trying to do

I am trying to make an indented checklist. It looks correct in edit mode but not in the read mode. I hope these images make since, the first one is the meta data front matter - I think I did it rightt, then below it I wanted my indented checklists. I have others with headings below, but I didn’t use headings this time just indentions. The drop downs are showing on the edit page, not the read view though. I would really love the checklist as YAML frontmatter but I don’t know how to do that!

Things I have tried

I’m new! I erased and retyped. I looked in source mode to see if there was some sort of mark (I think that’s what source mode does)

You can’t indent bullets or lists without a parent bullet. So your top “Morning Skin Care Routine:” is going to need to be a bullet, or a task.

That’s the only one that works! Except it brings all of the other ones directly under it. And doesn’t include the category

Are you saying that the other headings need to have a bullet?

The one on the top is how I want each one to look in both views.
