Last checkbox in a callout can’t be clicked.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Sandbox vault
  2. Paste this into a note
> [!info]+ tasks
> - [ ] task1
> - [ ] task2
> - [ ] task3
> - [ ] task4
> - [ ] task5
  1. Try to click task5

It’s clickable in 1.5.12 on iOS.

Thanks for checking. Can confirm:

  • Obsidian v1.5.12 (macOS): no issues.
  • Obsidian v1.6.1 (macOS): last checkbox can’t be checked.

I meant to add this to my original post, but the minimum example to reproduce the issue:

A more accurate bug description is the clickable area for a task is offset to the top, so you can’t actually toggle the first task in the list as the area for that is not even reachable.

Another oddness I observed is that this seems to bleed into dataview queries - I have a query in my daily note showing me unchecked tasks from the last 14 days of daily notes and that is also broken.
Have open tasks A, B, C in yesterday’s note - query shows me only two labelled B and C - marking B as done within the query view refreshes and C is gone while B remains - but checking the original note it is B that has been marked done.

Should I create a new bug for that or is that just another manifestation of the same root cause ?

No, I believe it is another manifestation of the same issue. Also, we do not take bug reports involving third party plugins.

I made this silly workaround with templater to manage all current note’s tasks at once in a suggester.
