Use case or problem
I am using bases with a kanban view and grouping by folder so moving between groups moves notes between folders that i have named as “Statuses”. The problem I’m facing is that the leading folder path text makes it so that i can’t see the statuses at all. In the example in the attached image I created two different types of “On Hold” status: indefinitely and awaiting but it’s difficult to tell which is which with the leading folder path text.
Proposed solution
The simplest solution is to make group name configurable, i.e. “my projects/in progress” → “in progress” and “my projects/completed” → “completed”.
Current workaround (optional)
I’m considering extracting the status from the directory path but I think it’s a cleaner solution to have the groups be renamable.
