Setting the “Markdown citation templates” in the Citations settings using the handlebars syntax.
What I’m trying to do
I’m trying to change how citations appear in Obsidian notes via the Citations plugin. Specifically I’d like the inserted citation link to appear as just the title rather than the citekey.
So in the Citations plugin settings, I put [@{{title}}] in the “Markdown primary citation template” field and @{{title}} in the “Markdown secondary citation template” fields. However, when I insert a literature note link it still renders as the entire citekey.
Are these fields supposed to determine the link appearance in notes or is that controlled some other way?
