Use case or problem
I am working mainly with canvas. I arrange my notes in the canvas, and edit the notes also in the canvas. Sometimes I need to search something only in the canvas’s notes, and sometimes I need to know the stats of the note I am working on (words count, nr. of backlings…etc). So I thought It would be very helpful if the activated notes on the canvas show that stats at the bottom right. And also super helpful it there is a local search for the canvas’s content.
It is probably a feature that is interesting only for people who work mainly with canvas as an organizing tool.
Proposed solution
To show the stats of the active note in the canvas. And to implement a local search property for the canvas.

To open the note separately and check the stats there.
