It was very easy and user-friendly, and the Gramps XML import was seamless. The surprise came immediately afterward when I looked at my own record, which indicated that I had died six months ago!
Indeed, I do have a death event in Gramps, but fortunately not yet with the primary role, only with the role of the person who reported the death. 
It’s my mother’s death event, whose death I registered with the town hall, that is shared with me. Did I miss something during the import process, or is it that Gramps event sharing isn’t yet handled correctly by the plugin?
