I’ve been considering using Obsidian for my note taking, but I’m running into an issue with image files not syncing properly when they are added to a canvas.
I am utilizing OneDrive and AutoSync to synchronize between my Android and PC.
When I add a photo to a canvas on either device, after the sync is complete, the cards appear on the other device, but there is a message that says " “[Image File Name]” could not be found." I’m given the options to “Swap file…” or “Remove”.
When I select “Swap file…” and re-select the image file from its location in my vault, the image successfully populates on that device. However, when I sync and return to the first device, I get the " “[Image File Name]” could not be found" message on THAT device. It seems impossible to have the images show on a canvas on BOTH devices at once.
I have also tried using the OneSync app with the same results. Is this a bug, or is the really no way to keep the link between the image file and a canvas on both mobile and PC using OneDrive?
