Bumping this again.

Z-stack ordering control for elements in Canvas is a critical feature as it’s really holding it back.

that is so creative LoL - making the most of what we got

but it is quite true that Canvas has great potential to be an immensely powerful tool yet it is still pretty basic and early in its form, i really hope the dev would keep crafting and adding to it!!

Until this gets finally implemented…Advanced Canvas can do this (and much more).

How do you achieve this with Advanced Canvas? I can’t find such feature/setting.

Edit: found it. The setting is called ‘Z-Ordering Control’.

I would not go that far, annoying as thinking you have deleted something can be.

I recognize the value of canvas being a simpler tool.
Therefore, I disagree with people that wants another draw.io.

That being said, I do want to have a card ordering system.
To me, this feature is about reliability: I want to nest my cards inside other cards reliably.
