Steps to reproduce
- Create a new Canva note inside a folder in my vault.
- Inside Canva, insert a card linking to a table note (4 columns, only text content, not very large).
• 3. Try to open and edit the table from within Canva.
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
YExpected result
The table should be editable with normal speed; Canva should remain responsive.Actual result
- Error message appears repeatedly: “Indexing taking a long time for [filename]”
- Writing in the table becomes extremely slow:
- Text input appears only after long delays, or not at all.
- Sometimes the Canva note or the linked table card opens, but shows “Keine Datei” at the top, even though the corresponding local markdown file still contains text.
- Notes in general sometimes open as blank (content not shown).
- Canva becomes increasingly unresponsive until Obsidian itself freezes:
- The UI loads only as a static image.
- No interactions are possible.
- Restarting Obsidian or the computer does not resolve the issue.
- Disabling all community plugins does not help.
- After uninstalling and reinstalling Obsidian, the issue persists (UI remains frozen/unresponsive).
