Can't see the rightmost edge of table border in edit mode

I assume “I didn’t search well enough” so apologize in advance for not finding this if it exists already…

Using 0.12.2

On a clean vault with zero plugins, there’s something weird with the CSS that causes the right edge of the table to become impossible to view if the editor pane width isn’t taking up the whole screen. A scrollbar appears at the bottom, but you can’t slide it over any farther to the right- the "|" edge boundary as well as the last couple of characters in the table row are not visible.

Here’s a screenshot from the Help vault, for example:

Can confirm in v0.12.3
Can’t see the last two characters in the line…

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a new note
  2. Create a two column table with two rows
  3. In the the second column of the second row type a long string of text
  4. The last two characters of the text are cut off from view

E.g. paste the table below into the editor and ‘2)’ is not visible in the editor.

Operator | Definition
--- | ---
Exponent | a quantity representing the power to which a given number or expression is to be raised, usually expressed as a raised symbol beside the number or expression (e.g. 3 in 23 = 2 × 2 × 2)

Expected result

I would expect to be able to see all content within the table cells in the editor.

Actual result

Final few characters are cut off from view in the editor.

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS Big Sur 11.4 (on MacBook Air M1)
  • Obsidian version: 0.12.4

This is still an issue in 0.12.10. Changing the settings toggles for Readable Line Length and Line Wrap make the final characters visible, but of course most of us want those features turned on, so not really a fix.

+1
using latest MacOS- and Obsidian-Versions.

Same here on Linux, Obsidian 0.12.10.

Will be fixed in 0.12.12.
