Can't create forum posts on mobile

Not sure where to post this, but I was trying to reply to a forum post on my phone and the mobile keyboard hides the message box, so it’s impossible to reply to posts or create new ones.

Steps to reproduce

Navigate to forum.obsidian.md on your phone browser. Go to a topic. Click reply. The message box will anchor to the bottom of the screen and be covered by the phone’s keyboard.

Expected result

Message box should relocate above the keyboard, so that I can see what I’m typing.

Actual result

Keyboard slides over the message box and can’t be seen while typing.

Environment

Galaxy S25 Ultra
Android 16
Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard, but also happens on default Samsung keyboard.

Which browser are you using? I’m on Edge.

tried vivaldi and chrome

Must be an Edge issue. Just tried Chrome and it works as expected.

I’ll see if I can figure out what’s causing it. Thanks for looking into it though.

It’s a bug with Discourse, the forum app.

Unfortunately, it’s been around for 3 years. Supposedly fixed, according to this: Mobile keyboard hides composer using Microsoft Edge on Android - Bug - Discourse Meta but still active.
