Can't complete Indexing on Android

I have Obsidian running on my Android phone, sync’d via AutoSync to the vault I store in my Google Drive. I haven’t noticed a problem with the syncing. The problem I’m having is that when I open Obsidian, it’s saying I have almost 9000 files to be indexed (expected), but it’s indexing them at a rate of a few per minute, and if the screen shuts off, it stops indexing. Why would indexing be so slow, and why does it stop if the screen shuts off?

I don’t know why it’s indexing slowly, but it probably stops when the screen goes off because the app can’t do background things when the phone is asleep. Change your screen setting to keep it awake until it finishes indexing, and it should be fine after it processes that massive batch of files.
