Can't browse files/folders

Obsidian Version: 1.6.7
operating system: Manjaro Linux
Window Manager: sway

So when trying to browse files to create a vault I get the following error:
: GetVSyncParametersIfAvailable() failed for 1 times!

I tried installing a previous version of Obsidian. I also tried different ways of installing it (flathub, pacman, AppImage). I turned hardware acceleration on/off. I updated drivers.

Then I’ve read that this is a known electron error but found no good solution for that. It’s always “install a previous version”.
I’ve also seen some cases of Obsidian not using X11 or Wayland, but I don’t know how to adress this issue.

Sorry if my description sucks I’m a Linux noob. I hope somebody can help me If you need me to provide more information just inform me. Thank you

in the meantime, you can try installing a different distro you’d use for obsidian…
never had issues with ubuntu gnome, or with xfce (not wayland)

I’ve tried using i3 which still was installed on my system for the issue. So if i remember correctly i3 uses wayland, while sway uses X11. With wayland(i3) everything works just fine. X11(sway) doesnt work as expect. Do you know how I can make Obsidian use X11 instead if that is possible/ makes any sense.
Appreciate answers from other people too ofc.
