On Obsidian 1.2.1 I cannot select multiple items in the file explorer by holding CTRL as this causes the preview window to show up. This is frustrating when wanting to change delete multiple files or moving them to a new folder.
Notably holding SHIFT works as expected.
This was tested on a plugin-less fresh vault

Note that in the future you can use Help → Sandbox Vault, no need to create your own test vault!
ctrl was kind of working but it was a bug (it conflicts with both cltr-hover for preview and ctrl-click to open in new tab)
You should use alt-click for multi select.
