Working on 1.1.5. Regularly I suddenly can’t open any more files. Get the above message. Only way to go is to go to remove obsidian-1.1.5.asar and restart Obisdian.
Turns out, it was the Pandoc Reference List Plugin.

Try running in restricted mode and see if it happens.
