Cannot follow internal links from properties with keyboard

Steps to reproduce

Edit front matter properties. Add a field for example “parent” and add a link to another document. [[name to document]] The property should be clickable with the mouse.

Now move the cursor to the property in question. Try to open the link with alt+enter.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Did not find that example in there.

Expected result

I would expect the link to be opened.

Actual result

The content of the property is edited in wierd ways.

Environment

Additional information

This is not the same as “add-internal-link-hotkey-not-working-when-editing-properties/67441” bug. That bug is about the add link command. This bug is about following links with the keyboard.

It looks like the feature request is here:

Aha, I did not find it when searching, thanks for linking it!

One difference from my bug is that it also affects the default “alt+return shortcut”. But I could add it to the feature request aswell I guess.

I don’t know if it should be caracterized as a bug or a requested feature.
