Cannot export canvas to PDF

Obsidian: Version 1.8.7 (Installer 1.7.7)
I am using it on a MacBookPro

When I want to export the canvas to a PDF (File ==> Export to PDF) nothing happens.

Is there a way to fix this bug?

They said there was changes to the pdf stuff in 1.8.x which means you need to the installer version (I see you’re on 1.7.7).

So download Obsidian from the main site, and do a reinstall. This will not affect your vaults, but update the installer version. I’m not sure it’ll fix your issue, but it removes a very likely candidate for why it could fail.

I’m not sure that macOS menu item has ever worked for Canvas files. I’ll check an older version of Obsidian when I get a chance, but I’ve always used “Export as image” in-app.
