Cannot enable community plugins in obsidian 1.7.5

What I’m trying to do

Dear all,

I am a newbie to obsidian and recently I have come across a issue where I cannot enable a newly installed community plugin (==pandoc reference list== and ==zotero integration==). I have successfully installed the plugins but when I try to press the enable button to enable the plugins, the whole obsidian just freeze and after a few seconds it crashes.

Here is my basic information, please let me know if more info is needed.

Obsidian version: 1.7.5
Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04

It seems the issues I’m experiencing with version 1.7.4 persist in other ways as well. If you downgrade your version to 1.6.7 and try again, it will most likely resolve the problem.

I can’t reproduce this problem.
if you do ctrl-shift-i do you see errors in console when you click enable?

Are you sure the plugins are installed?
Do you have permission problems in the plugin directory? (can obsidian read/write in that directory?)

Thank you very much for your reply.

It seems that I have installed the plugins, as shown below:

Also checked the read/write permission of the plugins folder.

Can obsidian read/write on that folder?

By console I mean electron console in obsidian. (You can access it with Ctrl-shift-i)
