Can you change the text display of a Block Reference (or any link) in Obsidian?

I am trying to reference back to a block of text within a note from another place in the same note. I learned about Block Referencing and it seemed like a good way to this (but maybe there’s another way?). However, I don’t like how it looks, with the entire name of the note in the link and the code of the referenced block of text. Is there a way I can preserve the link but change what the text says?

Add a pipe (|) and then the display text you want. This does not work for transclusions. Here’s an example

[[2023-03-09 Thu#^64d7fe|Display Name]]
