Can we execute a command via note link or button?

I am trying to find a way to execute an obsidian command by clicking a link within a note. It would be similar to how we can type / slash commands in-line and execute them within note text.

Things I have tried

I feel like I saw this functionality somewhere, maybe a demo of some kind, but at the time I didn’t need it and can’t find the reference again.

I searched Obsidian help and the pluglin list but can’t find what I’m looking for. I may not be using the right terms or it may not exist.

Is this functionality included in a plugin? Maybe a Dataview trick? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I think you can do that with buttons plugin.
