Can’t find snippets folder on iOS

What I’m trying to do

I was trying to find the snippets folder on my iPad i downloaded Taio so I can see hidden files and I went into the .obsidan folder but I don’t see snippets and I only see these folders

Things I have tried

I tried reinstalling the app, I tried making a new vault but I still don’t see the snippet folder in any vaults I create.

You need to create the snippets folder. Obsidian will not create it.
If you synced this vault from a desktop install, you need to check your Sync settings (I don’t have official Sync so I don’t know what include/exclude settings there may be).

Okay I made a snippets folder and put css files inside of .obsidian but when I go back in the app it says no css snippets found

You need to put the .css files in the snippets folder.

Tip: you can install CSS Editor plugin and create + activate your css files. Takes the weight of having to work around in Taio off your shoulders to boot.

Yup, I second

for the win in this case (especially on mobile). It will create the snippets folder if there isn’t one already, a valid .css file ※, and enable it for you.

※ someone had an issue the other day with snippets not working, when they clearly should have, enabled in Appearance, etc. Turns out the software they used created the .css file encoded as UTF8-BOM instead of UTF8. :upside_down_face:

Thank you so much that was the solution!
