I’m trying to share my vault with some friends and I don’t want them to have to pay a subscription.
Currently, I’m just syncing my vault with Google Drive using Syncdocs, but it works really poorly. I want something that works cleanly and natively.
Not using Obsidian Sync.
All collaborators must have an active Sync subscription to access a shared vault. Joining a shared vault does not count towards your vault limit.

Some folks in Obsidian’s Discord #tabletop-games channel use Dropbox to share notes, but my understanding is that it’s on a per-file basis and there’s no live editing or collaboration going on, but I could be wrong.
