Can I use obsidian url in kde linux?

I am using Ubuntu kde, I check this link:

At the first step:

First, ensure you create a obsidian.desktop file.

When you check the detail. There is only gnome tutorial, no kde.
So kde cant use obsidian URI? Any workaround?

That’s for “GNOME and other freedesktop.org-compliant desktops”. It should work for KDE.
