I currently only understand how to create events in the Calendarium plugin. I know I can go into the Open Custom Creator > Events to manually add events. However, there are several other methods I don’t understand. I found the documentation, but it left me confused.
I am looking for the advantages, limitations, and means of implementation for each of these methods and settings. I am struggling to find them or examples. If there is an example vault, or instructions I have not found yet, I would greatly appreciate a link.
- Parse Note Titles for Event Dates under Calendarium > Events Management: Is there a specific format of date required? I tried matching the date format I set but it doesn’t show up in the calendar.
- Events Parsing, under Settings > Calendarium > Events Parsing: Events Parsing is not listed under the documentation. What does this setting do?
- Inline Events, under Settings > Calendarium > Open Custom Creator > General > Support Inline Events and under Settings > Calendarium > Events Parsing. This mentions the use of .
- Front-matter: The properties system appears be a variation on the the front-matter system, which is also mentioned. How do I use properties with Calendarium? I figured out how to add the fc-date property using the date format set in Calendar Creator, so an event shows up on the calendar. However, how do I add a Category? Is there a way to add multiple?
I’ve determined that the date likely needs to be in the fc-date format, as it is mentioned both in the documentation and on these forums. I assume its what is used for Event Parsing and Inline Events.
