Builtin spellcheck not working on v1.7.7 on Ubuntu

Steps to reproduce

Open sandbox vault, misspell words, witness there is no underline

Yes

Expected result

An underline under the misspelled word or some indication it is misspelled

Actual result

No underline

I just thought of some further Additional Info. The machine I use this on is offline, I installed from a .deb. Spellcheck works just fine on my online ubuntu machine. Is it possible that spellcheck needs a connection to the internet at some point?

Ok this is not a bug. The spellcheck dictionary are downloaded on first use.

Can you post how you might setup spellcheck to work offline? Where to download the dictionary? Or, what qualifies for a dictionary? What folder the dictionary is stored?

This comes from electron/chrome and they use huspell dictionaries. The exact directory of where they are placed depends on the package format you chose.
