Hello Obsidian Team,
I would like to report a reproducible bug on Obsidian for Android related to embedded local videos.
**Device & OS:**
- Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Android 16(latest updates)
One ui : 8
**Issue description:**
When embedding local MP4 videos inside a note:
- The videos often fail to load on first open.
- To make the videos playable, the app must be fully closed and reopened multiple times.
- Scrolling through the note does not automatically load or refresh the videos.
- This makes using multiple embedded videos in a note unreliable.
**Expected behavior:**
- Embedded local videos should load and play inline without requiring repeated app restarts.
**Additional info:**
- Videos are stored locally in the vault.
- Short MP4 videos (4–10 seconds) exhibit this issue.
- Disabling Live Preview has no effect.
- File names are simple and free of special characters.
I am attaching screenshots showing embedded videos failing to load.
This issue severely impacts workflows that rely on inline video playback.
Thank you for your attention and for your excellent work on Obsidian. I hope this can be addressed in a future release.
