[BUG] Persistent purple overlay

Steps to reproduces

• Open some note
• Ctrl + Click the book/pencil icon to open editing/view mode in new tab
• Mouse wheel click the purple chain icon
• The window will successful close, but the purple linked overlay will persist

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Sure.

Expected result

• Purple linked overlay disapears, as if mouseout

Actual result

• Maybe it’s waiting the mouseout event forever

I can reproduce. You don’t need physical mouse to reproduce it:

1. Ctrl + click reading mode icon
2. Hover unlink icon
   
   
3. Press Ctrl + W (or ⌘W)
