Due to a separate spellcheck bug where autocorrect changes the triple dash --- required for YAML into something like ——-, I tried assigning various hotkeys to toggle spellcheck off and on as needed. But for some reason, the hotkey works only randomly—though usually not at all. I also tried adding specific text replacement for the triple dashes as another workaround, but this did not work either.
The issue exists in my main vault with numerous active plugins as well as an empty test vault with no active plugins. I’m relatively new to Obsidian, so I don’t know if any other actions’ hotkeys are affected and haven’t yet tested further.
