The search-highlight.css snippet:

I see the suggestion-highlight class is still there in Obsidian desktop 1.13.7, did it change in 1.14.4?

I don’t see the relation with the highlight on that link. Can you please quote here the exact part you are referring, and explain a bit more?

Change the color value to var(--highlight-background) and you should be good to go.
