When exporting (on the Mac version) a pdf file, then copying the text from the generated pdf into another document, it breaks the words into a soup of completely broken characters and individual letters instead of being the original content.
“This is an example”
becomes:
“Thi s i
s an exa m
ple”
I did the pdf export text with Typora, and the pdf export was absolutely clean, and the text was preserved with the content intact → this issue is only with Obsidian.
It seems like the Obsidian Windows version is not/less affected by this issue.
No idea regarding the Linux version yet, but I’ll try.
