Bottom ribbon in iOS with a physical keyboard doesn't scroll

Steps to reproduce

Use an iPhone (13, in my case) with a physical keyboard.

Edit a note. A ribbon of buttons appears (as expected) at the very bottom of the screen (since there is no software keyboard).

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes

Expected result

The bottom ribbon with icons (Bold, etc.) is normally scrollable (so that we can see and use buttons beyond the first few).

Actual result

Trying to scroll the bottom ribbon so as to access other buttons actually makes iOS switch to other apps. In fact, the ribbon is covered by the standard iOS white horizontal handle at the bottom of the screen, that can be dragged so as to switch to other apps.

Putting the ribbon a bit higher, or maybe disabling the iOS horizontal handle might solve the problem?

Environment

(I can’t easily copy the info right now, so I’m typing some key information.)

iOS 17.5.1
Obsidian version: 1.5.12 (134)
Live preview: on
Base theme: adapt to system
Community theme: none
Snippets enabled: 0
Restricted mode: on

When you get mobile v1.6, let me know if this still happens.
If it does, attach a screen recording if you can.

Thank you for getting back to me.

With 1.6.7, the situation is still the same (trying to scroll the command ribbon moves to the next app instead, as is usual when scrolling at the bottom of the iPhone screen). This makes accessing commands through buttons impossible.

I’ll add a screen recording soon.

No need for a screen recording. This should be fixed in 1.7.0, available for insiders currently.
