Bold symbols in equations?

How to bold symbols in equations? I used the code ‘\boldsymbol’ and ‘\bm’, they all don’t work.

I use \textbf{x}.

It works, but not so good. The export result is text, not an equation.

I tried \mathbf{\gamma}, it is ok.

Apparently this is an ongoing issue in MathJax. It seems Obsidian needs to set a flag for boldsymbol.

This didn’t really work for me. \pmb{\gamma} gave me proper bold greek symbols. It’s definitely confusing but I’m having these issues in other programs using MathJax as well (Anki).
