Block identifier with right click
Ok, I know this has been a long talked about topic but, I really feel the need to bring this up again.
I understand there seems to be a very simple “Just at the end of the block, type ^ and press enter. Then you’ll get the block id automatically” instructions.
But, it just doesn’t work. I searched the forums and the internet… I found various complaints and solutions, even some long codes and hotkeys without any descriptions on how to use the codes or the non-existent hotkeys. I spent about 4 hours trying back and forth. And nothing works. Now, I’m spending my 5th hour writing this, hoping it will initiate this action & fast. 
Unfortunately, I’m just trying to cook in the microwave, not learn about the microwave. 
Neither do I want to open my obsidian to community plugins, -as the more I open up to the whole wide world of the internet, the more cyber security issues I get-.
Nor do I want to go back to OneNote which will risk all my work, time and energy.
But, OneNote had a good interface which allowed to link topic quite graphically like in canvas. The whole notebook was like a canvas. Unfortunately their CEOs decided to make the new code not recognize the old code, thus, I lost my whole masters notes to OneNote. So, thank you! I don’t want it.
Now, let’s fix this issue together…!
You have a winner software which does what it promises and attracts all the professional people who seek this promise.
I’m with you guys. I understand your whole story and I want to express my deep gratitude to the Obsidian’s creators, workers and supporters.
This is a wonderful app and I like it so much, and feel so secure about investing my time and energy in it that I suggest Obsidian to everyone who I think will benefit from it.
Now, what I’m suggesting is a very very simple thing, which will be very very helpful 
I see that there’s a new right-click option about the block ids.
So, would you kindly place a right-click option for block-id which will do these:
- Creation,
- visibility,
- copy & paste
- change the name. (as it is already active)
Please don’t be stingy about these simple codes which will make life much easier for the rest of us who don’t have the time for, or the pride in our coding skills.
I think it will be very very useful. Very useful, might I add.. I mean… it will open up a whole new window and world to it.
