Use case or problem
I’m 22 and I’m wearing sharp glasses.
Over the extend of december 2022 to february 2023 I have been switching to Obsidian and spend an unhealthy amount of time in the graph view, creating and managing my structure.
I’ve noticed small changes in my eyes – such as reading license plates becomes harder etc. – and I can certainly tell, that the small font size of the graph view was the cause. Speaking out of experience; I always spend an unhealthy amount of time in front of screens + my eyes have been stable over the last few years. It seems quite likely that this caused my eyes to get worse, and i’m just trying to solve such a trivial problem so that more don’t suffer.
Proposed solution
Give us an option to increase the text size for the graph view, just as it already exists for the font size in notes.
Current workaround (optional)
- Unfortunately avoiding the graph view
- Going into local graphs more often (but the filter “tags” won’t show any notes with a similar tags, no matter the depth I choose – which is another huge problem)
- Going into the graph view and adjusting the force settings, so that everything is extremely close and I can be zoomed in more to achieve higher font sizes, but thats inconvenient for overview
