Bidirectional linking triggers my Perfectionism and FOMO

So basically I have a lot of ideas…too many. From each post, 5 new ideas are born and therefore linked, and for each of those…and so on, and so on.
The problem is, I guess, a mix of perfectionism and FOMO. I’ll never be able to share my site with anyone because it will never be finished!
And even if I decided at some point to make it public, what if a reader reads a post today but tomorrow I might want to add yet another new link in that old article - or backlink it from somewhere else??
I can’t expect my readers to read every iteration of every post every time I update one. It’s a bottomless pit. Every reader will read an outdated version of the posts they choose to read. It’s like wanting to reach a star we see in the sky…but that star was already dead thousands of years ago and we’re just getting its past light :joy:

I also struggle when they ask me to insert a table of contents but…there’s no possible table of contents because it’s…bidirectional link, baby! :joy: I don’t know how to convey this concept to the average reader.

People are used to consume content like a book, with a start, a common thread and the end. But there’s nothing as such in my site. Just the most disparate topics.

I think there is an entire book on the topic. “Every Page is Page One” by Mark Baker

I don’t share my vault or have any interest in Publish. I know many do. I’d personally keep my vault a huge free form mess, and my own blog a very tightly curated separate thing.
