Use case or problem
Another common feature in many Kanban implementations that is lacking in the Kanban bases view is colored columns. This is an important feature, as it allows easily identifying and differentiating columns at a glance.
Proposed solution
Allow the user to assign a color to a column. Potential places for a color input could be:
- In the “Configure view” menu, though that would be a bit clunky.
- On the column itself.
- In a menu on the column itself, which would be better if more column configuration is implemented.
Current workaround (optional)
The user could create a custom formula that adds a colored emoji based on the column property value, though this isn’t very ideal.
