There is no padding for bases, so everything appears cramped on the left when there are few columns:

I’d like for bases to be centered with some padding, the way normal notes are:

Embedding the .base file in an .md file works:
However, wrapping all my .base files feels cumbersome and adds clutter to my vault.
Related feature requests
Align content in column would be a better workaround if the padding solution isn’t possible. I could right-align the text in the left-most column and then move the seprator to the middle of the screen.
