Base to support view Tagged block, content under heading or inline field

What I’m trying to do

On “Base” add new column(or function) to view tagged block , content under Heading or inline field

Things I have tried

currently nothing can be done beside using third party plugin.

I mostly use inline fields in my notes but I am unable to access them from a formula in Bases.

Since the syntax documentation is very limited atm, I came to the forums to see if it is even possible to access inline fields in bases.

Hopefully, someone sees this and answers our question

Bases don’t currently (as of Obsidian v1.9.x) scan the file contents; only cached information about the file. The team have said there are no plans to support inline properties at the moment, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next cycle.

When it comes to writing, there are valid reasons why opting for organic writing is superior to converting thoughts into YAML. One key advantage is the ability to escape planning ahead by simply jotting down ideas and tagging them as you go. This approach is not only quicker but also saves mental energy. I prefer just tagging the paragragh like for example ‘#life_event’ with the hashtag not even used in the YAML.

Solution :

Properties & Bases: Parse (Render) Markdown in text properties // Allow mixing text and links in string fields

One workaround for this I have found decent is to create a text property (in my case “changelog”) and link to a block in the note’s body. This way you can write as you would normally in any note while still being able to query it via Properties from Bases Views. [6019] [95971]
