Use case or problem
I would like to rely more on the backlink function to centralize my random ideas on a project.
For example, I have a project note “solid_state_battery”, and whenever I have random ideas on this project, I create a new note, and put the wiki link “solid_state_battery” to that note’s relevant section (usually a nested list)
Now when I check the note “solid_state_battery”, in the backlink section, even with the option “show more context” on, it won’t help. I need to manually click the down arrow once to expand it below to include the list.
Proposed solution
Obsidian already have the ability to expand further (upward, downward) by manually clicking the arrow.
I hope Obsidian can create a setting in the “backlink” plugin, just to allow user to input the default expansion level.
e.g.
upward: 0
downward: 1
so it will be equivalent to clicking the downward option once manually.
I hope it won’t take up too much work, as the functionality is already there but just to create an option to set a finer default behavior.
Thank you very much
