Use case or problem
When I create or open a vault, place a desktop shortcut either in Apps Menu (Mac/Linux) or Desktop shortcut (Windows).
It’s a hassle to open Obsidian to switch vaults back and forth. Since I could need any vault at any time.
Proposed solution
Obsidian should manage this shortcuts, update it in case of directory change and remove it as needed in case vault is removed.
And each vault should be separate in Taskbar or dock too. So, it can be pinned to Taskbar apart from Start/Apps menu and desktop.
Current workaround (optional)
I have to manually create the shortcut file with arguments after reading Obsidian docs. Or you could also consider implementing notebooks similar to Joplin inside a vault.
