What I’m trying to do
I’m trying to find a way to automatically add the created time to any tasks I create within Obsidian. I like to create my tasks item by binding “CMD + L” as the hotkey for “Toggle checkbox status.” I used shell commands to be able to accomplish what I want to when I create a task from scratch. But when creating multiple tasks, I like adding more tasks by just pressing enter after creating the first one, and the second tasks and on wouldn’t have the date created automatically added. I would like a feature where it adds the created date whenever I add a task
Things I have tried
I know adding tasks using “Tasks: Create or edit task” feature/hotkey allows what I’m trying to accomplish, but I think this is such an inefficient way to add a task with created date.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.
