Automated numbering falls back to 1 of interrupted by bullet list

Steps to reproduce

Smart lists are activated.
I enter a list like:

  1. one
  2. two
  3. three

I interrupt the list with some text

  1. The list continues and picks up from the number before (either way if I type 1. or 4.)
  • I interrupt the list with a bullet list
  1. Now, either way no matter if I enter 5. or 1. the lists always starts at 1. after the bullet (as soon as I enter text)

A bullet on the second level doesn’t interrupt the numbered list.
So the question would be: is it intended behaviour that bullet lists interrupt numbered lists (like headings do)?

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

I used a test vauls with no plugins nor CSS snippets.

Expected result

I expected the numbered list to continue after the bullet like it did with the interruption of normal text.

Actual result

The lists always starts at 1. after interruption of a bullet list (first level)

it’s intentional and compliant with the spec
