If anyone interested in creating new notes that automatically inherit the parent name and fills in automatically the frontmatter of the new note, I have just created this plugin. A menu option ‘New Child Note’ will show in the context menu when you right-click on a note.
Then, the new note is created with a frontmatter property with a link to the parent note.
All the options are configurable from settings.
