Audio / video files linked via file:/// are not embedding

Steps to reproduce

Link to an audio or video file on your machine via file:/// syntax, including an exclamation mark to indicate it should be embedded. Like so:
![my video file](file:///path/videofile.mp4)

Expected result

Media is displayed in preview mode.

Actual result

Media is not shown, instead replaced with a broken image link icon.

Environment

  • Operating system: MacOS 10.15.7
  • Obsidian version: 0.11.5
