Attachment setting for 'subfolder name' reverts to 'assets/NOTE_NAME'

Hello,

The Obsidian settings for attachments location gets automatically reverted to one which is “assets/{NOTE NAME}”. I’ve noticed this issue recently, after updating to version ‘1.5.3’.

For example, Obsidian is configured with the configuration: Settings/General/Files and Links:

  • Default location for new attachments: In subfolder under current folder
  • Subfolder name: _attachments

Upon inserting a new attachment in the note with name NEW_NOTE, the subfolder name gets reverted to settings:

  • Default location for new attachments: In subfolder under current folder
  • Subfolder name: assets/NEW_NOTE

This is not a thing in core obsidian. ^^^

I found the issue. It was caused by the custom Plugin “Custom Attachment Location”. I’ve removed the plugin and the issue is now resolved.
