Steps to reproduce

Assign any block (^block) with chinese character.

Expected result

The chinese character/word would be assigned as the ID of that block

Actual result

Obsidian do not recognized the action. The ^ sign remain as text.

Environment

  • Operating system: Win10
  • Obsidian version: 0.9.11

We only support ASCII alphanumeric characters for block ids. Block IDs are not case sensitive. [a-z][0-9]
