Hello everyone,
For those of us who appreciate a linear reading experience, Obsidian’s default graph-based, non-linear structure can sometimes feel a bit scattered when dealing with sequential notes. Whether you are writing a serialized story, compiling a structured tutorial, or organizing daily journals, there is often a natural need to read from “Part 1” directly to “Part 2” without friction.
To address this, I would like to share my recent plugin called Article Navigator.
Core Features
Based on this metadata-driven approach, the plugin provides several navigation mechanics:

Frontmatter Configuration (Setting Up Properties): The plugin reads specific properties you define to understand the exact sequence and relationship of the articles.

Inline Navigation: It automatically renders “Previous Article” and “Next Article” links directly inside the note’s view, allowing for a continuous reading flow.

Floating Buttons: For longer documents, it provides floating UI buttons on the screen so you can jump to the next or previous note without needing to scroll to the bottom.

See Also Links: Beyond strict linear paths, it allows you to define parallel reading suggestions (“See Also”) to expand on specific topics.

All Platform/Theme Support: The plugin supports any size of devices to use (including mobile optimization!). It also provides native obsidian experience with highest compatibility to other themes and plugins.
All the functions above have independent button for switching, you could turn anyone of them off.
