I would love to see Obsidian integrate with Apple’s App Intents framework.
As someone who manages a massive, deeply personal vault, having system-level integration would be a game-changer. Adopting App Intents would allow Siri to have onscreen awareness and execute complex actions directly within our vaults using natural language (e.g., “Add a link to the note I’m looking at to my Daily Note” or “Find my journal entry about…”).
With the latest OS updates focusing heavily on these deep app integrations, having Obsidian “Siri-ready” would elevate the app’s powerful local-first philosophy to the next level on Apple devices. Hopefully, the dev team can look into adopting these schemas!
